La Summer School DOPAMINET 2012 avrà lezioni sui temi della Genomica Funzionale del sistema dopaminergico cellulare e della differenziazione di neuroni dopaminergici, includento innovativi approcci terapeutici per la malattia del Parkinson |
Dettagli
The Summer School goals are: - to inspire and train PhD students, medical doctors and early stage researchers involved in the study of neurodegenerative diseases. - to raise awareness of the recent research advances in the field of Dopaminergic Neurons and in technologies for improving therapeutic approaches to fight Parkinson’s Disease: special emphasis will be put on the impact of functional genomics. - to promote participation in international dialogue and exchange and to strengthen alliance with patients, care-takers organizations and policy makers committed in shaping evidence-based policies on neurodegenerative diseases.
The Summer School is conceived as a focused and multi-disciplinary networking platform to access the highest level of expertise from leaders in the field of functional neurogenomics. The Summer School includes two plenary lectures from Prof. Moussa B.H. Youdim (Technion-Rappaport Family) and Prof. Alain Prochiantz, (Collège de France). A roundtable with health policy makers and stakeholders from industry and patient organizations is also planned.
