Ecopia BioSciences is leading the discovery of new antibiotics and anticancer agents from microorganisms. The preclinical development group of the company is seeking for a research assistant to be involved in the execution of preclinical studies in animals to establish pharmacokinetic and toxicity profiles and demonstrate efficacy using various in vivo models.Successful candidates will form part of a team dedicated to isolation and structural elucidation of natural products from diverse microorganisms. |
| Requirement |
This position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry, 4+ years experience in isolating natural products; experience with multiple chromatographic techniques; familiarity with HPLC, MS, NMR instrumentation and modern techniques in structure elucidation; desire to work on cross-disciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to natural product isolation and structure determination. |
