The Proteomic Core Facility Services (LaP) was born from the common intents of University of Bologna, S.Orsola Medical Centre and CRBA Research Centre with the aim of sharing instrumentations and knowledge and creating a centre of excellence in chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques able to support the needs of all the converging research groups.
Strategically located in CRBA in S.Orsola Medical Centre, the LaP is also active in national and international biomedical research projects in collaboration with the Hospital medical units.

LaP is looking for a young high motivated researcher, with experience in biomarker discovery, able to organize assigned research project and support the activity of the laboratory manager.
The researcher will be expected to improve and/or develop new tools and technologies within the scope of proteomics research as needed, including protein extraction and protein fractionation methodologies, analysis and troubleshooting.

Successful applicants must have a degree in chemical sciences, pharmacy or biology with hands-on experience in proteomic mass spectrometry (MALDI ToF, LC-MS/MS) and statistical analysis applied to biomarker discovery research programs. Electrophoresis techniques and protein microarray techniques familiarity are a plus. High motivation, excellent interpersonal skills and attitude to collaborative work are mandatory.

Gross salary will be 20-23000 �, according to the candidate's experience.
